Coaching at Stirling County RFC

At Stirling County RFC all our coaches are required to be UKCC qualified through Scottish Rugby. For Mini rugby this means the UKCC Level 1 course as a minimum, and at youth rugby the requirement is a minimum of UKCC Level 2. These qualifications are not a pre-requisite for coaching but are something all coaches will be asked to pursue. On top of this all our coaches must complete their RugbyRight qualification at the start of each season. We also encourage and support our coaches in obtaining first aid and strength & conditioning (S&C) qualifications. All coaches must complete a PVG through Disclosure Scotland prior to being able to coach and our Child Protection Officer will assist in this

Refereeing

Arguably the most important person on the pitch as no referee = no game! If this is an avenue you wish to pursue please contact Stewart Milne for further details.

All the year groups in the club are supported by the Club Academy Manager – Stewart Milne (stewart@stirlingcounty-rfc.co.uk).

If you are interested in coaching, or indeed volunteering at the club in any capacity, please contact Stewart.

Trustee Positions

We are also on the look out for additional trustees to join our team.

If you are interested or would like to find out further information, please email John Gibsonpresident@stirlingcounty-rfc.co.uk.
