Born and raised in Kirkcaldy, James first started playing rugby when he was 9 years old at Kirkcaldy RFC. He continued representing his local club for 11 years, until he made the move to County at the age of 20. James played for the Wolves for two seasons before joining the Super6 side who he is looking forward to representing once again in the upcoming season.
