FOSROC Super6 Retained Players Announcement - Stirling County RFC

FOSROC Super6 Retained Players Announcement

Coming into the new season, we are pleased to announce Stirling Super6’s retained players from season 1.

60% of our contracted players have been retained for this year’s FOSROC Super6 squad, with all players selected to come back having shown great effort and presence on and off the field. We are thrilled to have them back for another season and can’t wait to see what they bring to the pitch as a team.

Head coach Ben Cairns had this to say about the retained players: “In what has been a very difficult period for everyone, we are delighted to have retained so many players from season 1. Whilst some players will have played more in season 1 than others, all have shown a real willingness to learn and improve. They are good men who want County to be successful and we know how much they are looking forward to representing the club once more.”

Super6 original, Lewis Skinner, had this to say about the season to come: “I am really looking forward to the season ahead. It’s been a long time coming for everyone. It’s nice to have some normality back. The boys have been working hard in the pre-season and the coaches have made sure of that. We have a really strong squad this year and I feel we have the ability to win the FOSROC Super6. I cannot wait.”
