Boy's Youth Rugby

Respect, Honesty, Proud, Inclusive, Committed, Enjoyment

Stirling County have been at the forefront of youth rugby for many years and has led the way in recent years as Scottish Rugby has evolved the format of youth rugby in Scotland, achieving success on the pitch in competitions including club conference titles, age group conference wins and national cup wins, all whilst growing as a section. We pride ourselves in our inclusivity, we are open to all and are pleased to be able to cater for all players, irrespective of their drives, be it to someday represent their country or to simply enjoy themselves with friends.

SPONSORS

All our coaches complete a Disclosure Scotland PVG check before they begin, all have minimum rugby qualifications and are on the pathway of the Scottish Rugby Coach Education system.

At U13 & U14 age groups we participate in a combination of friendly matches and SRU-led festivals that allow our players to develop crucial skills at this key stage.

From U15 to U18, we participate in SRU-run competitive structures along with various friendly matches. We will normally operate at least two teams at each age group and play predominantly on a Saturday morning (majority afternoon at U18).

For specific information pertinent to your age group*, the squad contacts can be found below or for more general enquiries, please contact the Club Academy Manager.

For general rugby enquiries:

*Age groups are determined by date of birth (DOB). A player’s age grade is determined by whether they were born on or between 1 September – 31 August at the beginning of each season. For clarification please contact the Academy Manager in the first instance with your child’s DOB and school year group.
