Sad news has reached us from Richie Dixon, our former esteemed club coach, who set County onwards from the Second Division of Scottish Rugby into the echelons of the First Divison.
Many of you will remember Richie as a coach, however, he was also a great family man, supported by his beloved wife Sybil who passed away on Monday, after a determined and dignified battle with cancer.
The funeral is on Monday 13th June, at Mortonhall main chapel, Edinburgh, at 12.00 noon.
Our thoughts and condolences are with Richie and his family at this time.
