Can Stirling County cap off a stunning season with a historic weekend?

After their stunning Super Series Championship win, no less than four Stirling County teams are making the journey to Edinburgh this weekend to compete in national finals.

Kicking off looks set to be a record-breaking weekend, the Women’s XV take on Watsonians in Saturday’s Women’s Premiership Final. On Sunday, County’s u16 Girls, u18 Girls and u18 Boys teams all compete in National Youth Cup finals at Murrayfield.

Talking about the weekend, Stirling County’s Director of Rugby, Keith Russell said. “We are excited to have four teams competing for national honours this weekend.

“It is a testament to the energy, enthusiasm and expertise of our players, coaches and team managers.

“Whatever the outcome, our hope is that the success on the field encourages more young people to come down to the Club and give rugby a try.”

The Women’s Premiership Final kicks off at 3pm on Saturday 16 December 2023 at Myreside Stadium, Myreside Rd, Edinburgh EH10 5BZ.

National Youth Cup Finals take place on Sunday 17 December 2023 at Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh.
