Charlie Croall - Stirling County RFC

Charlie Croall

It is with sadness we have to report the death of Charlie Croall.

Charlie was a life member of County, a loyal supporter and referee. He joined the Referees’ Society around the time when the initial  leagues were formed and refereed all around the West of Scotland. When he decided to wind down, he joined the group of County referees where his patience and good humour were tested from 2xv to Wolfhounds. He passed the rugby bug on to his son, Ian, who as a talented scrum -half, played for many a County side before work and family intervened.

We would like to pass on our condolences to his wife, Muriel, his son, Ian, his daughter, Sandra, their spouses, his grandchildren, family and close friends.

In line with covid restrictions, attendance at Charlie’s funeral will be limited by invitation.
