Stirling County Men’s 1st XV stopped off at the Kinrara Distillery en route to their victory against Highland this weekend to celebrate the launch of a new partnership between the club and the award-winning Gin brand.
As well has having the Kinrara brand on the sleeves of both senior men’s and women’s playing shirts for the coming season, the Distillery will also have a full selection of Gins on sale behind the newly refurbished Bridgehaugh bar.
Kinrara Distillery is a leading Scottish craft gin producer based in Aviemore and was named ‘Best Scottish Contemporary’ at the 2021 & 2022 World Gin Awards, along with ‘London Dry Gin of the Year’ at the 2021 Scottish Gin Awards.
Stirling County RFC General Manager Jack McIlroy Reid said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Kinrara Distillery for the coming season. They have really bought into the vision of the club and I’m looking forward to the potential to grow the relationship and continue collaborating.
“Having a small artisan distillery that produces award winning gins as the house pour in our renovated clubhouse is a huge draw for us and a real treat for our supporters and members on matchdays and at all club events.
“A huge thank you to Rebecca, Lorna and the team in Aviemore for looking after our senior Men’s squad on their way to Inverness on Saturday and for supplying a few bottles of Kinrara Highland Dry to help with the celebrations on the bus journey home.”
