Club Meeting – Saturday 21st January 2023 – All members, players, parents & supporters welcome!

Dear members, players, parents and supporters,

The Stirling County board would like to invite you to a meeting to hear about our priorities and progress to take the club forward. We have a large membership and many more people in the area with a strong affiliation with Stirling County. We are determined to ensure that Bridgehaugh is a welcoming environment for everyone and that the club is thriving on and off the pitch. To achieve that, we need to fully engage our players, parents, members, volunteers and supporters. This meeting is the first step.

The meeting will be for an hour on Saturday 21st January, starting at 11.30 am. It will be held in the bar, with some short presentations and the opportunity for a question and answer session.

Following the meeting, the Women’s 1st XV will play Heriot’s in the Premiership play-off semi-final. County go into this game having finished top of the league, with 11 wins out of 12 matches and a 10 try bonus points. It’s been an outstanding season for the women and they will very much appreciate a full crowd at Bridgehaugh to cheer them on. These two teams play fast, expansive rugby. It should be a great game. KO is at 1 pm.

The Men’s 2nd XV will play against Glasgow Academicals, KO at 2 pm. Finally, the Men’s 1st XV will play against GHK in the National 1 League. It’s an important game for County with GHK sitting 5 points behind them in the league and County looking to build momentum as some key players return from injury.

We would very much like to see a packed Bridgehaugh for the meeting and the matches afterwards.

Kind Regards
John Gibson
