Scotland’s Women’s Six Nations Championship kicks off this weekend as they travel to Cardiff to face Wales.
Three ex-Stirling County players will line up against Wales in Cardiff this weekend. Evie Gallagher starts in the back row with Elliane Clarke and Eva Donaldson on the bench.
Former County player Nicole Flynn is also part of Scotland’s Six Nations squad. Former County Player Natasha Logan and current County and Glasgow Warrior Holland Bogan have been training with the squad in their preparation for this weekend’s game in Cardiff.
Speaking about their inclusion in the squad Gillian Duncan [Women’s 1st XV Team Manager] said. “We are delighted to see these players get the opportunity to represent Scotland in the Women’s Six Nations. From our girl’s section through to our Premiership-winning Women’s XV, we aim to create a pathway that supports and develops young players. Having these former County players as role models just shows our younger players what can be achieved.”
