Over the last couple of months, our Super6 team has been training hard. Our first game of the Sprint Series is now only a few days away, with final team preparations happening ahead of their trip to Myreside.

Head Coach, Ben Cairns, commented,

It’s great to have our 32-man squad announced. We are really happy with the mix of youth and experience.

We have a core group there who know what FOSROC Super6 is all about and we will be looking for them to drive the standards. With 11 players still under 20, we are giving youth a chance and I have been really impressed by their energy and desire to improve.

Furthermore, 40% of the squad are players who have played youth rugby at County, there’s real connection there with the club and we are really proud to have so many homegrown guys involved.”

This weekend, Stirling County take on Watsonians in their first away game of the FOSROC Super6 Sprint Series at Myreside. Come along and support County – Kick off 2pm. Tickets can be purchased online via this link or on the day at the gate.
