Sad news this morning has reached us that Nick MacKinlay passed away peacefully last night at his home in Redcar.
Nick was our club captain from 1979 to 1981, moving up from his home in Redcar to live in Bridge of Allan. He brought with him considerable rugby nouse to the benefit of the club at that time. A stand-off, and sometimes scrum half, he loved his time at County and also enjoyed living in the Stirling area. Once again we have lost a great County man who was respected by all who knew him.
Our condolences to his wife Dawn and the rest of the family.
Once we are made aware of the funeral arrangements we will notify all members.
