Lewis Wynne and Euan Cunningham return to Bridgehaugh!

Stirling Wolves have bolstered their squad for the remainder of the 2023 FOSROC Super Series with the signing of two of Stirling County’s favourite sons.

Lewis Wynne and Euan Cunningham have been named as injury replacements for Adam Woods and Stevie Hamilton respectively as the Wolves continue their push for the play offs starting with this Friday’s game against the FOSROC Future XV, tickets still available HERE.

Wynne, who most recently captained Jersey Reds to the English Championship title, came through the Kilgannon Motors Stirling County Academy and was a member of the National Youth League Cup in 2013.

The 26-year-old played 19 times for Glasgow Warriors, signing a professional contract following impressive displays for the County Men’s 1st XV and as a Scottish Rugby stage 3 academy player.

The back rower also played for Scotland U20s, Edinburgh Rugby and London Scottish before joining Jersey in 2020.

Cunningham has returned to Scotland from Australia and rejoins the Wolves squad he was last a part of during the 2022 Championship.

The versatile back spent time in the FOSROC Scottish Rugby Academy and played 10 times for Scotland U20s over the course of 2020-2022.
