Stirling County’s own Max Williamson made his Scotland men’s debut this summer as Scotland took on Canada in the opening test of their Summer Series.
Max came through the age grades at Stirling County, starting his rugby career at just 4 years old. He made his way up to the senior section, going on to play 2 seasons with the Wolves in the Super 6.
Max signed his first professional contract with Glasgow ahead of the 2022/22 season, after a stand out few years in the FOSROC academy. He made his debut in November 2023 against Benetton. Since then, he’s made 19 appearances for the Warriors, including 9 starts and 2 tries. His stellar form this season earned him a call up the Scotland squad for their summer tour of the Americas.
Max got himself on the team sheet for the opening match of the tour against Canada, starting in the second row alongside Glen Young.
We can’t wait to see what he does next!
