Men's Performance Coaching Group - Stirling County Rugby Football Club

Men’s Performance Coaching Group

After a long and productive off-season, Stirling County have been working hard behind the scenes to build the best possible environment—not just for players to enjoy, but to truly thrive and develop.

Craig Jackson continues in his role as head coach, and has provided the following updates on our men’s performance coaching group for the upcoming season:

We’re delighted to confirm continuity in key areas of our performance setup, with Luke and Katherine continuing to lead in Strength & Conditioning and Physiotherapy. Their expertise and professionalism are vital in ensuring our players are physically prepared and looked after throughout the season.

On the coaching front, Sheeba, Hodgey, and Si remain central figures within the group, bringing consistency and quality to our programme. In a real bonus for the club, Sheeba will also contribute as a player this season—his professionalism and experience will be invaluable both in training and on matchdays.

Excitingly, we’re thrilled to welcome WP to the coaching team. His impressive playing career speaks for itself, but what’s really stood out since joining us is his passion for the game and his drive to develop as a coach. WP brings fresh energy and new perspectives to the group, and we’re proud to welcome both him and his family to the Stirling County community.

Finally, a familiar face returns in Skinner, after a successful spell as a player here and a strong start to his coaching journey. He rejoins us with clear energy and drive, following an outstanding year coaching at Glasgow University—where, by his own admission, he’s “Coach of the Year”! We’re delighted to have him back contributing in a new capacity.

All in all, there’s a real sense of momentum around the club, and we believe this coaching group positions us perfectly to push forward both on and off the field this season.
