New Stirling Wolves Super Series General Manager!

Stirling County RFC are delighted to announce the appointment of Jack McIlroy Reid as Stirling Wolves Super Series General Manager.

Jack brings extensive experience of a professional rugby environment having spent three years as Glasgow Warriors’ Media Manager before moving to the senior management team at the University of Strathclyde’s state of the art Sport facility.

Starting immediately, Jack will lead and develop all operational and commercial activities for the Wolves and be responsible for all the club’s FOSROC Super Series off field activity.

Speaking about his appointment, Jack said: “I’m extremely excited to have joined such a historic club and can’t wait to get to work with the 2023 FOSROC Super Series Championship just round the corner.

“Stirling is a rugby city and the club and local community have really bought into the Wolves and the Super Series which can be demonstrated by the fact Bridgehaugh is consistently the best attended stadium across the competition.

“My job is to create an environment that allows our outstanding playing and coaching staff to flourish, and I’m looking forward to working with every supporter, staff member, sponsor, and volunteer to achieve this.

“My ambition is for Stirling Wolves to become ‘the most professional semi-professional club in the country’ and while there is plenty of work to be done, I’m excited by the challenge.”

Stirling County RFC President John Gibson said: “On behalf of the Stirling County Super Rugby board I wish Jack a warm welcome to the club.

“As he brings with him experience and knowledge of professional rugby, we look forward to him engaging with the wider community in Stirling, including students at the University of Stirling, parents, and the business community.”

Jack is now the point of contact for everything Wolves related at Bridgehaugh and can be contacted on: StirlingWolvesGM@stirlingcounty-rfc.co.uk
