Joan Brough passed away peacefully in Strathcarron Hospice on 8th April, following a short illness. She was one of a band of dedicated supporters who followed the championship winning team, up and down the country, for many years and also served as Ladies Section President for several of those years. She loved her time at the ‘Coonty’ which was, and still is a massive part of the Brough family way of life.
“We were very sad to hear of the passing of Joan, mum of County Stalwart Jim Brough and grandmother of current player JC Brough. Joan loved being around the club, faithfully following and supporting the County team nationwide. Our sincere condolences go to all the Brough family for their loss.”
In memory of Joan, a service will be held at Bannockburn Crematorium on Tuesday, April 30th, at 11:00 a.m.
