Girl's Youth Rugby - Stirling County Rugby Football Club

Girl's rugby

Our Teams

Stirling County’s girls’ rugby section is one of the fastest-growing and most successful in Scotland, welcoming players from under-12 to under-18. Our programme is designed to give every girl the opportunity to enjoy rugby, develop her skills, and build confidence in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Following the Scottish Rugby Union’s Blueprint, our coaching focuses on developing rugby skills, physical fitness, life skills, and game understanding at every age group. We are proud to promote the SCOTS values—Selfless, Creative, Optimistic, Tenacious, and Self-Organised—helping our players thrive both on and off the pitch. Training and matches are tailored to be safe, challenging, and fun, with a strong emphasis on player welfare and enjoyment.

Our girls’ teams have achieved consistent success at National Cup and Conference level, including recent victories in the under-18 Cup and under-16 Shield, reflecting the strength of our coaching and the commitment of our players. The section is led by experienced coaches, including female coaching role models, and benefits from the same high standards and resources as our boys’ and senior teams.

From learning the basics and making friends at U12, to developing advanced skills and leadership at U18, Stirling County offers a vibrant, welcoming environment for every girl to reach her potential. Join us at Bridgehaugh and experience the fun, friendship, and achievement that come with being part of Stirling County’s girls’ rugby family.
