We at Stirling County RFC are delighted to announce our charity partnership with SAMH – Scottish Action for Mental Health.
SAMH (Scottish Action for Mental Health) is Scotland’s national mental health charity. Taking part in sports can bring huge benefits beyond physical fitness, including promoting our mental health and wellbeing, and SAMH is delighted to have been chosen as Stirling County RFC’s charity partner, working together to raise funds for, and awareness of, mental health support in Scotland.
Stirling County RFC already works with SAMH’s physical activity and sport team, which provides training and support to coaches, volunteers and officials as the club, and has signed up to Scotland’s Mental Health Charter for Physical Activity and Sport as it works its way to becoming a mentally healthy sports club. SAMH looks forward to continuing the great work that has already been done to see Stirling County as an example for sports clubs across the country.
