Stirling County RFC is delighted to extend its partnership with the Stirling Highland Hotel for a further year as the club’s exclusive accommodation partner.
Home to Sir Henry Campbell Bannerman’s famous observatory, the Stirling Highland Hotel is one of the most iconic buildings in the city and boasts 96 beautifully appointed bedrooms, the elegant Scholar’s restaurant and the Stirling spa and fitness suite.
As well as their financial contribution, Stirling Highland Hotel will fund five bursaries at Bridgehaugh covering the annual membership fees of individuals within the club’s youth system identified by Team Managers as most benefiting from support.
Stirling County RFC General Manager Jack McIlroy Reid said: “The evolution of our partnership with Stirling Highland Hotel and the inclusion of bursary funding means that a potential financial obstacle to exercising and socialisation has been removed for five young people from the city.
“Thank you to Abbie and the team at the Highland Hotel for their ongoing support of the club and the local community. Everyone at Bridgehaugh is proud to be associated with a Stirling institution that shares our values.”
Stirling Highland Hotel Sales and Marketing Manager Abbie Mitchell said: “It has been an absolute pleasure to work alongside this incredible team, building a strong foundation and fostering a deep sense of community over the past year.
“We are proud of the meaningful connections we have developed, and we remain committed to supporting and encouraging both the players and the club as they embark on the new season.
“As part of our continued commitment, we are especially excited to announce our funding of five bursaries which will be awarded to individuals within the youth teams. We believe these bursaries will offer valuable opportunities for young athletes to grow and thrive within the Stirling County RFC family, contributing to their personal and athletic development.
“At The Stirling Highland Hotel, we’re passionate about making a positive impact within our community, and our partnership with Stirling County RFC is a testament to this. We look forward to another year of collaboration, supporting the club’s vision and celebrating their successes together.”
