Stirling County Rugby Club are working with local charity TreeLink Stirling to improve the environment of the club grounds.
We have undertaken a number of planting events including a 175 metre hedge alongside the fence between the grounds and the council’s allotments and the banks of the River Forth and we’re looking for volunteers to help mulch around the tree with wood chip that have been planted to give them the best start possible!
WHEN: Saturday 4th May – 10.00 – 12.00 & Saturday 11th May – 10.00 – 12.00
WHERE: Stirling County Rugby Club, Bridgehaugh
WEAR: Sturdy footwear (boots or wellies) and bring gloves if you can and a wheel barrow and shovel if you have one.
Teas, coffees and bacon rolls will be provided to warm and sustain volunteers following their efforts!
