Who is next? Logan Trotter Signs a Pro-Contract with London Irish

Stirling County RFC is delighted to announce that Logan Trotter has signed for London Irish.

Logan has been part of Stirling County since minis level and has progressed through each stage of the club up to, most recently, Super6 (Stirling Wolves) level. The club is excited to be able to offer this progression for players and Logan is a great example of a player following the pathway through the club to then go onto sign a pro-contract.

Speaking about his contract with London Irish, Logan Trotter said,

“Having spent my whole playing career and coming up through the Stirling ranks, it is sad to
be leaving a club I have so many memories and friends at! However I am excited for this
new start in London and to see what the future holds for me in this next chapter of my life.”

Stirling Wolves (Stirling County Super6) Head Coach, Ben Cairns, commented,

“Logan joins the growing list of players who have gone pro through our environment which
is exactly what Super6 is set up to do. This announcement is made even more special by the
fact that Logan has come all the way through the club. He hasn’t taken the most direct route
into pro rugby with a few setbacks along the way so it’s great to see his consistent
dedication and sacrifice being rewarded. We will watch Logan’s continued progress closely
and wish him all the best down at Irish.”

Stirling County RFC’s President, John Gibson, commented,

“It is great news that Logan Trotter recently signed for London Irish and debuted on
Wednesday (21st) evening against Harlequins in the English Premiership. I’ve known
Logan since he started with County in the mini sections P4s. He’s an example of a player who has come through the club and U20 international pathway. Our congratulations go to Logan, and I am sure he will prosper in the professional environment that London Irish will provide him with.”

Everyone at the club wishes Logan all the best on the next stage of his rugby playing career!
