Stirling County prides itself on cultivating a pathway from amateur to professional rugby – offering opportunities from minis, through youth and senior to Super6 – the part-time professional league that aims to bridge the gap between the club and the professional game in Scotland.
Since the inception of Super6 in 2019, it has been great to see a number of Stirling County players who have moved through the club at various levels, to then be offered professional rugby contracts with clubs throughout the UK.
- Angus Fraser – Glasgow Warriors
- Max Williamson – Glasgow Warriors
- Murphy Walker – Glasgow Warriors
- Cameron Henderson – Leicester Tigers
Prior to joining the Super6 squad at Stirling, Max played for County at youth level before going onto play senior rugby at the club. Murphy and Cameron also joined Stirling County at senior level.
All four players have played Super6 rugby at the club.
Everyone at Stirling County is very proud of their achievements to date.
However, who will be the next Stirling Wolves Super6 player to be offered a pro contract?…
