Bio
Ryan began playing rugby at the age of 6 and did so throughout his school years, playing 2 seasons in his high school 1st XV. He then went on to play for False Bay Rugby Club in South Africa, from the U20s through to the 1st XV. Ryan has played for three different teams in the Scottish Premiership, most recently playing for Currie Chieftains.
Career highlights:
• Schoolboy 1XV team being ranked in the top 10 in South Africa (2014)
• Unbeaten season and winning the league with False Bay Rugby U20s (2016)
• Player of the year and Players Player of the Year for 2ndXV FBRC (2018)
• Sevens Player of the Year FBRC (2019)
• FBRC 1XV player (2019)
• Runners up in Scottish Tennents Premiership with Currie Chieftains (21/22)
• Scoring on debut for Stirling County against Ayrshire Bulls in the FOSROC Super6
