The board is delighted to announce that, after months of extensive work, involving board members, club staff, and players, on a procurement exercise, with a number of kit suppliers, it has selected Kitlocker as its provider of on-field and off-field sportswear for the next 4 years, with an appropriate review period after an initial period of operation.
Kitlocker has, through its relationship with the sports clothing and equipment giant Nike, access to quality teamwear at affordable pricing through its non-branded “white label” team shirts, and Nike branded shorts, socks, and off-field leisurewear such as:
- Nike Academy Pro Midlayer Drill Top
- Nike Academy Pro Short Sleeve Tee
- Nike Academy Pro Pants
- Nike DRI-Fit Shorts
- Nike Fleece Hoodie
In addition, the supplier will work with our women’s team to design and tailor their kit and has offered significant annual sponsorship of the club’s amateur teams to support the need for replacement team shirts at U18, Women and Men levels, as well as attractive discounted pricing for all club shop sales, alongside an impressive royalties based kickback on annual online and shops sales.
Through its further relationships, Zelus and Nike have offered sponsorship of our FOSROC Super6 team through the provision of a performance team shirt, as they look to develop their profile and presence within Scottish rugby. I think I am right in saying we are the only rugby club in Scotland to have this deal which starts in season 2022/2023.
On behalf of the club, I would like to thank Nigel Beaty of Raging Bull for working with the club, as our kit supplier over the last number of years, where we developed a great partnership.
There is an element of commercial confidentiality about this new deal, however, if any member has a query about the new Kit deal, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly.
