Message to Members
Wolfcraig, our main club sponsor, has exciting plans to produce a new whisky from within Stirling at their new distillery. The only other production distillery in the area is Deanston distillery, so it will be exciting to have a distillery close to Stirling. Wolfcraig will not only be a modern distillery but also plans to create a state-of-the-art, family-friendly visit experience that will educate customers on whisky and Stirling’s rich history. This will hopefully encourage more whisky enthusiasts to visit Stirling and tourists to visit the city.

“We appreciate things have been quiet on the Wolfcraig Distillery front in the past few months, and we wanted to get in touch to share some positive news with you as valued members of SCRFC.
Naturally, we were extremely disappointed in March to receive a rejection of our planning proposal with Stirling Council. However, we have been working tirelessly in the background to adapt and respond to our challenges.
We are delighted to share that we submitted our Ground for Appeal Statement in May. We now await the Local Review Board meeting following the Council’s summer recess over June and July.

As you will see, we remain fully committed to building the home of Wolfcraig in Stirling and are determined to become an integral hub and asset to the local community. We have thoroughly enjoyed supporting multiple sports clubs in Stirling over the past 12 months, particularly SCRFC.
