Glenn started playing rugby at the age of 5 Down at Alloa RFC, then moved to Stirling county colts at the age of 12 playing all the through to under 18s. Going on to win the Scottish Cup against Musselburgh in the final. He then moved up to the senior squad playing for the 2nd XV & then moving up to the 1st XV.

Under 17s,18s,19s,20s
And played in the Junior world cup in Italy.

He signed his 1st professional contract with Jersey RFC – in 2009 then went on to win the National League 1 gaining promotion to the championship. He played the Championship season then left in 2012. He then went on to sign for Doncaster RFC – in 2013/ 2014 season which they went on to win National League 1 to gain promotion to the championship. It was then he signed for Glasgow Warriors – 2014/ 2016 winning the Rabo Pro 12 in his 2nd season. He then went on to sign for Edinburgh Rugby – 2016/ 2018

He was also part of the Scotland 7s – 2015/ 2019, to be part of winning the first title at Twickenham beating South Africa was one of his greatest highlights!
He then went back to Glasgow Warriors – in 2019/ 2021. He left in December 2021 to sign for the new franchise in Los Angeles called the LA Giltinis – for the 2021 season. He went on to win the Major League Rugby Title in his first year, Glenn mentioned It was a crazy amazing experience living over in the States and travelling all over playing rugby. He Retired professionally after that season having been playing professional Rugby for over 10 years, he then decided he would be coming out of retirement. Glenn is really looking forward to pulling the County jersey back on & enjoying the season.
