He started playing rugby at 6 years old for strathspey RFC. He then joined highland RFC at 14 years old where he played till he finished at under 18s.

He got the opportunity to play in New Zealand and America in 2019. The highlight of his career was playing at Murrayfield in the nation cup final in 2016.
